“I’ve always been told by my dad and other coaches that sports are a microcosm of life. I believe this to be true of CrossFit as well. The lessons I learn in the gym (how to handle being uncomfortable, how to deal with disappointment, the pleasure of working really hard for a goal and then achieving it, the list goes on) stay with me when I leave the gym.”
It is these same lessons that Stephen Gizzi helps those at Left Coast achieve.

Since childhood, Connor engaged in various sports and activities, including soccer, baseball, golf, football, and karate. He had a particular talent for two things; managing injuries and analyzing sports. Being sidelined with injuries often led him to a mentor/teacher role. He thrived in this role, and found purpose both in seeking personal improvement, and helping teammates do the same. Along the way he discovered his worth lies in sharing knowledge to uplift others.
This background led him to a profound interest in the ability to maintain health and enjoy life’s activities. His perspective shifted when he discovered CrossFit, and shaped his core belief: fitness is all about fun and cultivating that invincible, youthful feeling. This comes from preparedness, bolstered by attitude and community.
Your goals might differ from his, whether it’s losing 15 pounds in six weeks or playing in the park with your kids well into old age. Regardless, it is his passion to support that. He understands the significance of investing in one’s health and the wonderful, lifelong journey it entails.
